Volunteers from Bank of America participated in a community service project at El Centro’s Academy for Children last week. As part of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and its 2015 Conference, 40 volunteers painted classrooms, built an outdoor classroom and fence, organized books in the library and turned a patch of weeds into a beautiful garden of day-lilies and daisies.
Additionally, we would like to thank Heartland Habitat for Humanity for their assistance with the project.
